If you want to serve a showstopper dessert with minimal effort at your next dinner party, then why not give this a go. With its biscuit base and gooey caramel centre, you're guaranteed to make your guests go home with smiles on their faces!

Ingredients:
250g plain sweet biscuits, crushed
120g butter, melted and cooled
395g tin caramel filling
2-3 bananas
1 cup (250ml) cream
extra sliced banana and grated chocolate, to serve (optional)
Method:
Grease the base of a 20lcm round springform cake pan.
Place the crushed biscuits and melted butter in a bowl and mix until well combined. Tip the biscuit mixture into the base of the prepared pan and press out evenly. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Remove from the freezer and spoon the caramel filling evenly on top of the biscuit base. Slice the bananas and layer over the caramel. Whip the cream, then spoon evenly over the bananas. Refrigerate until ready to serve, but this should be made the day it is served.
Run a knife around the edge of the pie and remove the side of the pan. Run a knife between the biscuit base and the pan base to loosen, then carefully slide the pie onto a serving plate.
Served topped with extra banana slices and grated chocolate, if using.
