OVEN-BAKED TERIYAKI CHICKEN

Mix the sauce ingredients together, pour over the chicken pieces and bake. It's as simple as that! This dish is a great standby for a busy weeknight meal. Serve with rice.

Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts or boneless thighs
1/2 cup reduced salt soy sauce
1/2 cup runny honey
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
2 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp crushed ginger
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease an oven proof dish.
Place the chicken in the prepared dish.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a jug until well combined and pour over the chicken.
Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through, basting the chicken with the sauce halfway through cooking.
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
