BAKED STICKY MEATBALLS

I used to think meatballs needed lots of ingredients to be tasty. Well, I stand corrected! Keeping the meatballs plain makes the sauce stand out as it's not having to compete with other flavours. The sauce has the perfect balance of savoury and sweet, and if you would like to heat it up then feel free to add some chilli flakes. You could sere these with rice or mashed potatoes instead of spaghetti, if you like. Simple, but so delicious.

Ingredients:
500g lean beef mince
1/2 cup (50g) dried breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
spaghetti and chopped parsley, to serve (optional)
Sticky Sauce
1/4 cup (185ml) tomato sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 23cm square baking dish.
Place the sauce ingredients in the prepared dish with 3/4 cup (180ml) water and mix until well combined.
Place the mince, breadcrumbs, and salt and pepper in a bowl and mix with your hands until well combined. Shape into golf ball-sized balls and place on top of the sauce. Spoon the sauce over the meatballs.
Bake for 45 minutes, turning the meatballs halfway through cooking.
Serve over spaghetti, and sprinkle with parsley if using.
