FRUIT AND NUT CHOCOLATE

Indulge guilt-free with our homemade fruit and nut chocolate. A nutritious twist on store-bought options, with endless flavour possibilities. Try cranberries and pistachios for a festive treat! Ingredients:
1 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp honey
1 cup cocoa or cacao powder
1/3 cup nuts of your choice (e.g. pistachios, almonds, cashews, macadamias), roughly chopped
1/3 cup dried fruit of your choice (e.g. cranberries, sultanas, figs, apricots, gojis)
1/3 cup shredded or desiccated coconut
Method:
• Line a 20 cm square dish with baking paper.
• Melt the coconut oil and honey in a small saucepan over a low heat.
• Remove from the heat and add the cocoa or cacao and stir until well combined.
• Add the nuts, dried fruit and coconut and mix until well combined.
• Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and freeze until set.
• Cut into pieces and store in the fridge or freezer.
Serves: 12
Prep Time: 5 minutes, plus freezing time
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
